Labor Day Weekend

Hey... how did I forget to post these??? I hate to sound cliche but I have to put it out there.. I cannot deny the feeling of fall in my bones. The dead leaves and the good times refused to be ignored. The most wonderful time of the year..

Where is my mind?

I'm not sure where my mind has been lately. I've been pretty distant from the computer. I don't want to blame it on the laptop being broken and my just pure laziness to use the desktop, but it's possible. Maybe it's work. I've had days and days of straight 8 hours of trainings and meetings. It can burn you out. My mind has just been pretty preoccupied but I can't really say or pinpoint with what. The last few days I've signed on to look at some of my favorite blogs, I had like over a 100 posts I've missed each day. It's kind of nuts. I skimmed through a lot of them, skipping straight through a lot. It was interesting to kind of see which blogs I knew I definitely couldn't go without reading, though. Is it possible to have an inspiration overload? Perhaps it's that too, but maybe not. Probably not. Who knows.

Father's Day » 2012

Man, I am having a rough day. I really try to push the negativity out of my mind, but it's just one of those days where my mind refuses to go anywhere else. At least I got to enjoy a beautiful Sunday, at home, with my family, on Father's Day. Even if all else is rotten and terrible in the world, I can at least look forward to a mostly relaxing and pretty day of rest in Brownsville. That makes everything a little better. Home is a little slice of happiness.

...And since I know my dad visits my blog from time to time, just wanted to say a little something special to him... Happy Father's Day. Thank you for everything you've done for me since the day I was born. You'll never know how much it means to me. I'm so blessed to call you my dad. Please remember how important you are to me (And mom and Laura) when you feel like you're falling apart. I don't know what we would do without you. I love you so much!
