It's the time of the season...

It's officially fall. I've been spending lots of time (drinking.. haha) with Corpsey and Alex. I went to a bon fire last night and today I smell off it. I'm sick from the changing weather (Not necessarily a good thing, but definitely a sign on the season). Today we turned the furnace on in the apartment. I'm doing lots of thinking of parties, spook houses, and Gristle. Yep, it all sounds about right. These next couple months are my absolute favorite.

Crematory Icicles

Seriously.. the weather is so whacky around here. One week you've got a couple feet tall icicles hanging from your apartment awnings and the next week it's between 50 and 60 degrees out. I'm not complaining... I don't mind cold weather but I'm not the biggest fan of driving in the ice and the snow. I'm not at all one of those people who are ecstatic about summer time either. The in between is fine with me!

Unseasonably Warm Weather

Just a few days ago, it was so snowy, and icy.. getting home from work was a treacherous adventure. We had delays at school! I had to wake up early to thaw out my windshield on the cruiser! Today? It feels like a beautiful spring day. I shed my winter coat by noon. I've got the window propped open for Maestro. What's up with that? It will probably be snowing again by tonight. Pennsylvania weather is so whacky sometimes. It's just so hard to believe it's technically winter! Well, these pretty temps. got me day dreamin' of spring and summer times. Don't get me wrong, I still believe that fall and winter are my favorite seasons.. but look at these moments I captured on my blog in the warmer weather months. I have to say.. I feel really blessed to live in an area that has all four seasons! They are all undeniably beautiful in their own ways! Let's show some love for pretty, sunny, breezy days like today.

Chicken Noodle Soup Weather

It's a chilly, rainy night. It is definitely fall weather. Reminds me of getting all muddy at spook houses. I'm content home with Michael, keeping warm and cuddly under a blanket on the couch. As much as sleeping in to the sound of rain sounds like a perfect way to start the day tomorrow, I'm really hoping that the rain decides to go elsewhere and everything dries up for our Halloween party. It's not looking good. It seems like it's been gloomy out for days. I'll still sleep with my fingers crossed...

Ick was using my silly bear hat as a cozy little sleeping bag. So cute!
