I think we are finally over the rain. It had rained.. for days, I swear. We had to cancel the Halloween party we had planned to kick off the first Saturday in October last weekend. So instead of sitting around bummed out last weekend, I decided to have some close friends over for a little laid back get together. So here are a few photos from last Saturday. I'm glad most of my friends don't mind being in front of the camera.
Last night, Michael and I met up with Paul and his girlfriend, Laura, and headed to Connellsville to hang out with Russ and his lovely roommates and friends. It was a good time. It seems like on Saturdays it is becoming a ritual to spend time with friends. It reminds me of many of weekends when I was younger. I love it so much.
As soon as I can get myself moving, I am going to get ready to go shoot some engagement photos for my cousin, Carla. It will be nice to check out the mountains and see how all the leaves are changing. Fall is so beautiful around here. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit nervous about taking pictures, but what can I do? I'll just go with the flow. I'm sure they will turn out great.

Pinch me!
Sorry for the lack of post the last couple days. I've been pretty busy.
Friday I took off work because I had planned on going to see Primus with Laura that evening at Stage AE. Somehow it all worked out even more perfectly because on Wednesday morning I had found out Leftover Crack was playing at Altar Bar on Thursday night!
Here's a couple Instagrams I snapped.. I love my camera, but unfortunately, I'm rarely allowed to take it into venues with the detachable lens and all. I did get a couple quick couple minute videos. I'm sure they are bad quality all around but perhaps I'll post 'em later because I know looking back on them will bring a smile to my face.

Maestro
Maestro after a morning bath. :)
Maestro does not get enough attention on my blog. Obviously, he's tricky to photograph. Uncovering Maestro's cage is the highlight of my morning routine. I love how perky he gets when I open the blinds and the sun is starting to peek in through the windows. It's admirable. I love to hear his beautiful singing. I just love this little birdie. My pets really brighten up my day..

Students
These photos are from Open House way back in the beginning of September. Yeah, I know, I thought they looked like sweet little children, too... ;) Ha ha. Kidding.. I think. It's hard for me to even say this after a long, hard 8 hours of work, but they do have their moments when they make me smile.

A moment
I guess this is one of this kind of.. a picture is worth a thousand words things. I know this photo is not nearly perfect. This is probably just one photos out of a whole bunch I was just snap, snap, snapping away on this particular day. I honestly can't think of a more beautiful moment. It conjures up so many emotions for me and brings me right back to this moment and time. Autumn.. riding in the hearse.. to the park.. with family.. and Sheba. This.. is what I live for. These moments..

September in Review
October 1st really crept up! It feels like only a couple days ago I was creating a similar post for the month of August!
It was one of my more quiet months on the blog, but let's see what happened this month...
It was one of my more quiet months on the blog, but let's see what happened this month...
Red Velvet launched their Autumn 2011 Dress Collection.
It was a fun thing to watch unfold and keep up with during my daily blog reads!
I finally counted up my Littlest Pet Shop collection and realized I have well over 50.
I shared some photos of my newest additions. So cute!
I still have even more to share, too!
I still have even more to share, too!
I spent a lot of relaxing Sundays at home, in Brownsville with my family, enjoying the little things. :)
I enjoyed lots of people watching, music, classic cars, and good food and I'm glad I captured a lot of it!
At work, we finished up setting our classroom for the kids to start school.
You never know what you are in for once the kids get there!
Seriously, you have no idea.... ha ha ha.
My parents celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Awww! I love them!
My mom also celebrated her birthday, too!
I had many fun weekends with my best girl friends. They keep me sane! <3
Michael and I went on more benching adventures together!
Always good times and beautiful sights to behold.
Of course, I enjoyed many days with my pets.
Hans and Dolby even stayed with us for a short time while Laura visited Molly in North Carolina.
Hockey Season began and it reminded me of a lot of special memories with some special friends. <3
Michael bought his first car and got his license!
The weather has been pretty up and down.. hot one day and cold the next.
It seemed like the coldest night yet last night. Very appropriate on the eve of October!
Unfortunately, we are postponing our bonfire we had planned at my parents house to kick off October. I know the weather will eventually cooperate and we will be able to have it and it will be a lot less miserable, wet, and cold! I'm not gonna' lie, I'm still a little bummed. However, looking back on the good times from September does cheer me up and I'm sure some spontaneous fun tonight will be just as fun!
Goodbye, September. Hello, October!!!!
