Asbury Park, New Jersey 2011; Videos
Before I forget to post these ever...... :) I took a lot of photos on this trip but unfortunately, couldn't take any at the shows at Stone Pony due to their camera policy. Luckily, I had my trust ol' iPhone with my to take some little videos. Now, I know they aren't at all the best quality but hearing and seeing them sure brings back some fuzzy memories for me! What a good post to end February with..

How Sweet
I didn't really celebrate Valentine's Day this month.. not really, but a few of the sweetest people in my life (Michael, Corpsey, and my parents) were kind enough to get me flowers, stuffed animals, cards, and chocolates. It's the little things.... Love you and thank all you guys. I don't know what I'd do without you! I can't tell you all this enough..

Crematory Icicles
Seriously.. the weather is so whacky around here. One week you've got a couple feet tall icicles hanging from your apartment awnings and the next week it's between 50 and 60 degrees out. I'm not complaining... I don't mind cold weather but I'm not the biggest fan of driving in the ice and the snow. I'm not at all one of those people who are ecstatic about summer time either. The in between is fine with me!

Work ; 4 Years
Just thinking... As of this month, I've been working for Head Start for 4 years. The same job.. for 4 whole years. I do feel worn out and exhausted, both mentally and physically some days. Luckily, the dynamics of a classroom change from year to year so it is hard to get bored with. Of course, since I started I've switched positions. I'm making 2 dollars or so more than from when I first started. Which, to me, is pretty impressive. It's hard enough these days to get a job, let alone one that gives you a raise. Plus, I got some free education out of the deal. As for what I do, I'm not going to lie, it's a total love hate relationship, but when it comes down to it, I have to say, I'm pretty blessed to have a job at all. A full time job, with benefits. Though most mornings it is hard to feel that way, I am very grateful. There are so pretty heart-warming moments, too, I guess. :)
