Rest Easy
Death really stirs my brain up. Anytime I hear about someone passing, it effects me so hard. Even if it's not someone I knew personally, I know that there are people out there hurting and wondering how to go on and who will never be the same, even though the world refuses to quit spinning. It's just such a huge reality check. To know that time is so precious and not promised is probably the scariest concept ever to me. My mind wont shut off today. Part of me just wants to curl up and let time pass me by but the other part of me wants to get up, get out there, and be happy and make the most of what little time I might have. I want to let every living thing know how much I love it and how important it is to me. I somehow don't have the strength in me to do this, though. I know it's inevitable. I know it's unfair. I know it's all out of my control. However, I do have control over the now, I guess. As much as I hate how heavy my heart is today, I got to suck it up, I got soak up and make all the memories with my friends as much as I possibly can. It's just so hard to go on living when you never know what going to happen next. My head and my heart are such a mess today.

Classroom » 2012-2013
I'm not gonna' lie.. It's my favorite thing to photograph the classroom right before school is back in session. You know, when the bulletin boards a freshly decorated, the toys and books placed neatly and perfectly, on the shelves, and the weather bear still has all his limbs! Hahaha. Doesn't it look just so picture perfect? This is indeed my favorite time of the year. After the first week.. I take that back, the first day, the kids come to class, you kind of start to loathe the place and it never ever looks quite as appealing. Ever. I think this is a bit repetitive of a post I did at the beginning of last school year. Oh, jeez.. isn't that awful? I swear I am grateful for my job. I swear, I swear. I just have to repeat that over in my head when I'm pullin' into the parking lot at 7:15AM, Monday through Friday.

It's the time of the season...
It's officially fall. I've been spending lots of time (drinking.. haha) with Corpsey and Alex. I went to a bon fire last night and today I smell off it. I'm sick from the changing weather (Not necessarily a good thing, but definitely a sign on the season). Today we turned the furnace on in the apartment. I'm doing lots of thinking of parties, spook houses, and Gristle. Yep, it all sounds about right. These next couple months are my absolute favorite.

Ferret Condo
This carpet covered tree stump lookin' thing kind of just looks like it would be some sort of cat furniture, but it's actually called a ferret condo. It's a pretty big hit over here. It resides in the Ikea circus tent with a bunch of other random toys. I love ferret friendly furniture for our house. I dream of being able to give them a whole room to themselves one day..

Italian Festival Car Show » 2012
The classic car show is probably my favorite thing about the Italian Festival (with the food coming in a very close second!). I'm so glad my dad went with me this year. We almost didn't go. It was pretty hot and miserable out on this particular weekend, but it was worth it to see these all these beauties. Classic cars are seriously just so dreamy, aren't they though?
(Looking through my post from last years Italian Festival, I realized I took nearly the same exact picture of the dash of the car in this first picture here. I must really be in love!)
